Launcher is an easy-to-use personal shortcut manager to launch all kinds of files and programs. Drag-and-drop operations are supported; this means that when Launcher is in "Manage Items" mode, it is possible to configure shortcuts by "dragging" files from e.g. Windows Desktop and then "dropping" them into Launcher. One can create an unlimited amount of user defined sub-folders and item (e.g. program) shortcuts. Launcher resides in the sys-tray.

 The Launcher installed OK, but simply fails to launch. No point in installing again, as it obviously doesn't function (a conclusion supported by the fact that your follow up email has a separate link for failures, so failures are obviously very common). Keep trying guys.
 I'm glad to answer you. At present all I can say is that the program works as promised and beyond, it simplifies in a good manner, the search for programs not used frequently. Downloaded twice. Both times I got an error preventing installation.
 Very nice launcher It's very easy to configure and use.
I used about half a dozen of launchers and this one is the best so far. Maybe not the most beautiful, but most useful. If you're looking for launcher - give it a try!
 Launcher : so-far-so-good I've only been using Launcher for two days but it seems to give me what I was looking for - quick access to some programs or files without having to cover the screen or Taskbar in icons. I tried drag-and-drop once but without success so probably I was doing something wrong. Manual locking-in of files is good, however. Most importantly, it gets a clean bill of health from SysInternals Process Explorer (now acquired by Microsoft, I see) - if this doesn't happen I uninstall applications immediately.

 I have tried several launching utilities. Astatix is a great tool and love it. I have already purchased and registered a copy. Hope they could add the ability of individual Directory or HD parition launch.

I have only just installed Control Runner and have yet to learn all the possibilities. I use a lot of software programs on a daily basis and have started to install them on the buttons very easily. This is just what I have been looking for. My desktop will be less cluttered after removing the regular program shortcuts and I do not have to squint at the long list of programs in the Windows menu.
